Thanks lucy. Im waiting for my mom to come back from the shop with my cabbage. Managed to get the duct empty, but its red still and blocking up again, so ill try the cabbage. Still got a temp but didn't take panado. I got the name of the painkillers i can take, but decided ill use panado all the way. Rather safe than sorry. But now im questioning why my gynae would give me myprodol if he knew i was breastfeeding Sulaiman. I didn't take them tho cos my husband conveniently lost my script..one of many scripts and i would sit with what ever it was and be forced to let my body fight it alone. There should be a law against allowing just anyone to pick up medication if they not the person but have a script. I understand this isn't always practical, but they could make an allowance for it such as they have to have the person's id with them and a letter or something.

Amy- we left the cot in the nursery and got a moses basket in the bedroom.

Emsmom- glad it is cooler and everyone has arrived for specs arrival.

Kimika- thanks for the advice. I'll try load a pic of the lion but on phone at moment and this technophobe is still learning! I think matching pants for a special occasion are cute, especially when they so little. I would also do an empire flowy dress that maximises the cleavage. Flaunt it while you have it hee hee.

Faw- when using cabbage leaves don't put them over nipple. Apparently can make them soggy. Hope it comes right soon.

It is super hot in kzn again. Was so pleasant yesterday had 'last' braai with a couple of friends.

Meags, love you need to stand up for yourself. If we're out and supper isn't ready by 8:30 - I actually go to DH and tell him that either we eat now or I throw up - you'd be surprised at how fast other people move to accomodate a pregnant women.
If your DH is going to be incosiderate around other people, then make loud comments about it, it'll make him feel crap, and hopefully get something going.
Otherwise how are you feeling? Any more progress?

betty, you must be feeling better now with the cooler weather, it really was too hot. I'm sure Mat will be just as sweet with the new baby as he is with his cousin. Its always nice for children to be introduced to other friends and family children and for us to see how they respond.

Kimika, just buy a nice tight round the boobs, then free flowing dress - will hide the tummy, but show off the bfing boobs

Amy I think the back pain is normal, the extra tummy weight adds lots of strain, not to mention not being able to sleep much, or as well as we'd like, it all adds to body pain.
I have our cot next to my bed, did the same with Em, cause we kept her in our room for 2 years, and will do same with the next one.

AFM, well my sister is home, and its lovely to see her, and my daddy got back today as well! So now spec can come and I'll be happy that my entire family is here
Each day I think "Oh, somethings happening" and then nothing.. so not sure whats happening. But should be over by the end of the week

I don't know what happen to me this weekend ladies. I was planning on putting in a whole lot of study hours. I wasn't gonna cook cos we had lots of food and I wasn't gonna clean cos the place was clean so I thought I'd use my long weekend to catch up on studies. I woke up on saturday with a lot of energy and I just felt I needed to clean out unnecessary things. So I defrosted my freezer. I changed all the linen. I scrubbed the bathroom. And then I decided to sort out my linen cupboard. But I couldn't reach up so high so I waited for my husband to get back from work at one. And he took all the stuff down for me. Ul never guess wat I found. The roof in our flat has a leak and with the frequent rains I think it dripped into the top shelf of the cupboard where I keep my linen. So basically I had to check each sheet and pillowcase and freeking duvet. And can u believe it , all my cream and white duvet and pillows had those brown water marks.so anyway we decided that we would wash them all on sunday. We were suppose to spend our sunday out of the house. Well that was my saturday. But I managed to study at about seven to nine. So yesterday I did all my linen laundry. And for supper I made a leg roast. I was so excited cos it was my first leg roast ha ha. So sunday supper was leg roast. And I managed to get in an hour of studying after supper. And then we watched a movie. So weekend didn't turn out bad. We got everything in there. Well hubby is at work today so I'm alone today. I go back to work tomorrow but only for nine days. Then my temporary job is over. I hope I enjoy my time at home with the baby and don't miss work. Last night I had terrible upper back pain. Anyone experience this? It feels like something is squashing me from the inside out in my chest. the only relief is wen my back is firmly rubbed. So I had to wake hubby up. Shame he was late this morning from being up in the night.
Have you guys bought prams yet? We bought a very neat second hand pram and car seat. Its a graco. Anyone with any experience. Are they good?
Did u guys put the baby cot in the nursery? Is it not easier to have the cot in your own bedroom for the first few months?? Iv put the cot in my room. Where do u guys bath the baby? I was thinking of doing that in my room too. Any advice??

Meags I can't believe you got home so late that night. And u ended up eating so late.did u at least get an explanantion or speak about it??? I love that pic u posted of three babies all different sizes. I really don't know how someone can throw away their baby. I mean the least they can do is leave it somewhere safe.
Meags I really think your baby will be here by Thursday. That's my guess.

Faw I also had that problem of hard boobs and a fever with my first baby cos he wasnt drinking the milk. I used a hot facecloth to express it out before bathing and I used cabbage leaves. U just gotta place the leave in ur bra and it will draw out the milk. It makes the booby soft again and then u can express it out. I found anything warm help ed.even wen u in the shower try expressing it out. Its probably a blocked duct. The one night I remember holding a warm hot water bottle and falling asleep. Wen I woke up during the night my shirt was all wet so I'm guessing heat helps. Hope it gets better. I read somewhere that myprodol is not safe. So maybe ask your pharmacist.
I'm gonna break my post up cos I'm afraid my phone will lose it again.
