Hi girls,

I really miss your chats, but L keeps me super busy, she doesn't sleep during the day at all. Sometimes I will get her to take a 2 hour nap and I will feel like superwoman, but usually she is wide awake the entire day and ofcourse needs to be in the hands. My pead said that babies determine their own routine and if she doesn't want to sleep during the day, but she sleeps well during the night (which she does), then no prob. So it seems to be normal then. I would still like her to sleep some and preferably not in my arms - I have learned now to sleep with her in my arms during the day - seems that is the only time she will sleep during the day.

I will be back at work next week, L is going with me, but she is a sick at the moment and I hope she will be fine by the weekend. Seems like the meds the pead gave us is working.

Kimika, I stupidly ate a bag of prunes! I mean hello!! Anyways, she seems to be back to normals now with her wind. Thankfully it didn't upset her, just more. I'm glad that you are chilling a bit now!
With your maid, being a mom I think the abortion will hit her hard, perhaps also make sure she goes to a councler and then suggest she gets her tubes tied to avoid this happening again. It is so hard, but for the best.

Lucy, please let me know how it goes with the cloth, and feel free to ask for tips, I'm learning how to make it so much easier as I go I shop on doodlebums weekly! I'm addicted to cloth nappies now!
I do have the bambo nappies for when I know I'm going to be on the road and sometimes for at night.

Well yesterday kate hardly slept at ALL, maybe like 2 hours in totaly the entire day - not really her fault, each time she fell asleep, something or someone would wake her. But at least she slept ok last night.
And today seems like she is playing catch up, sleeping lots I went to my "6" week check up and Dr did my pap, thankfully no internal! I've got to wait till Kate is 3 months to have my tubes clamped, but thankfully I can have it done while BFing. Its a day procedure, so i'll be in and out, and he'll do it on a friday so that I can rest for the week-end

Shame, all the poor sick babas around Reuben's nose got better after about a week, thank goodness it never got worse.

Betty, shoo that sounds quite hectic.. I wouldve just left supper hehe... and had a giggle at your typo.. Mango pouch Love it ! What did the ENT say about your son?

Missemom, wowie well done mommy! Your milk must be sooo good Ive had an exceptionally calm week so far.. looovely! Just spending time with my mom and the boys, and my sister's kids.. oh and ofcourse shopping. Grandma just loves to spoil the kids Why do you think Kate was farting more than other times? Something you ate? R farts a lot in general but some days its just too much!

Meags, I also try keep R's awaketimes at an hour and a half max.. but some days he is just sooo wide awake and wont go to sleep.. and sometimes he is tired after just 1/2hour.. it prob depends on whether he has finished his last nap or not?

Girls, Yeah I hear you on the abortion thing.. its just such a horrible thought I will maar then just support her and not try change her mind.. although its hard!

Kimika, I hope your doggie is ok and getting better. I think the probiotics have helped. She still farts worse than her dad though, lol. What a lady!

Betty the almost continuous feeding is exhausting. Tessa was similar, possibly even less breaks. Then we picked up that she was in pain and comfort eating. The chiro has done wonders. We now feed for an hour and 2hours off. Feed an hour ....etc So maybe see if you think she is sore. It helped me, not sure if same for you.

Missesmom I love the new name. Whoop whoop on Kate's fab growth. You are a deluxe cow! Ha ha. Here I thought I was a pretty good cow with Tessa making 5kg's! He he. I have been using the bambo nappies as I had loads due to buying the wrong size. I am guessing i'll run out next week, so i'll start with cloth then.....i can't wait.

Tessa has really been battling with wind since her jabs. I meaning screaming and sobbing bad. Breaks my heart! So I took her back to the chiro and her back and neck were out again. She is so strong and miss independent that she loves holding up her own neck and sometimes she gets tired and lets it flop. Of course I am never ready to catch her! Grrr. Well I hope she comes right soon.

Hello to all the other mommies! T nearly finished feeding so best get some shut eye.

Schatsie, and all other ladies in fact - my Fr friend told me to get some Emla Cream and put it on babies skin where they are going to inject an hour before the injection. It numbs the skins completely and baby wont feel a thing. She says they use it on the little ones at the red cross where she is a pead.

Kimika, I'm sorry I also agree with Meags, while I am against abortion when people have just been foolish, it does seem to be the best. Unless she can find a person to adopt, the child has no future if she cannot aford it.

Meags I really hope Mat stays this happy, and hopefully in the next month the reflux will stop as well

Arno is 6 weeks tomorrow and has to go for his vaccinations. I've decided to try the government route, but I'm dreading the whole experience! Think I'll send DH to take him, because I will cry if they hurt him!!

Hi ladies.
Yesterday was ok. It was training. Today i went out and started doing sales. Someone asked what job i have. Its selling a product called double deal. Basically you have a monthly fee of r99.99 and then you can go to movies for free, buy one get one free and the same concept with restaurants. There are other things in the deal as well. If anyone is interested let me know. I have to make 18 sales in a week and then i am made permanent and i get a basic with commission.
Abdul is still a nightmare but im now using colix and that seems to help a bit with gripe water. I haven't taken him to a doctor or anything cos i have no money and now i have debt to pay due to the stolen phone and the fact my husband didn't bother sending the car seat so i had to borrow money to buy one. The one i have for him isn't the right one for his age.
Leaving my children kills me in the mornings, but i have no choice.
