Meags, that's so normal you would feel like that hey - remember many of us who are besotted with our lo's have 'easy' babies and not only that we're living in our country of birth surrounded by friends and family! And many of us have supportive dh's as well etc etc so I'm just saying you have ALOT to contend with and least of all the fact that you have been given a very very trying baby - although HOW CUTE AND CLEVER he is - that is DEFINITELY a smile!!!!!!!!! Hang in there!! Have you been able to think about/doanything re weight loss I know you were keen to lose weight as am I - I lost almost all the preggy weight (12 kilos) then managed to put on 3 just battling to really START you know, have you started, if not, maybe we can support each other and anyone else who is keen on a weight loss effort!!

AFM, I'm without car today.. I didn't want DH riding on his bike in this weather. Got Em's godfather visiting tonight - he hasn't seen her since before she could walk!!
Kate was too lazy to actually wake up last night! She woke up once between 8pm and 7am - and fed for like 2min and passed out again. Guess the cold is good for something
So diet starts today, I'm 3kg away from my pre-preggy weight and then want to loose another 20kg. So here is goes. Want to be all skinny again by Kate's Christening in October.

Yay....got to be at the hospital at 11.30 not sure what time will have c section....some time this afternoon.

Lucy, so the feeding frenzy continues...do you breast feed in public? I did with M, just covered him with a blankie.

Meags - disappointing re the LLL. Perhaps she was away for Easter. Wow M is gaining weight nicely now! Well done.
I agree you should speak to dr re PND- how long have you felt like that? Possibly related to the BF problems. Hope today goes well for you, being on your own. I remember the first day alone with M- I was a bit weepy, so DH worked from home, but i was just delaying the inevitable..

Schatsie- hope all goes well at the clinic. The weather is so horrible to take baby out though... Keep warm

Joli- you must be so pleased to be getting your car back! Lol re Callum being like an iPhone.
Have you made a decision on returning to work?

AFM- my first day of ML. DH took M to school. Strange to say good by and him go to school. But he is off school the rest of the week, so it probably wont feel like ML.
Planning on going to watch a movie with a friend. Something I have not done in years so it should be a relaxing day!

Well i slept from about 12.30am till 6am! am happy about that!

Its pouring outside...perfect baby having weather. Now just waiting till can call doc at 8....hairwash time!!!

LOL feels like I am in labour, but at least no pain! Just pottering about knowing will be in hospital later!

Thanks for all the support ladies. My appointment with midwife is next week so I will definitely be asking her for something. (if I feel I am not coping this week, I will move my appointment up).

Joli - sadly I have tried every position possible for the feeding!!
I even tried walking around with him and trying to latch at the same time as rocking!! He wont even bottle feed unless swaddled. But yes I did try BF swaddled and unswaddled in all the positions possible.

Hope Matt behaves tomorrow....he was so good today. slept a lot.
We are still doing sleep training...tonight he is in his own room in his cot as DH is back to work tomorrow so cant have Matt disturbing him all night long.
Put him in the cot at 6:15pm and I think I have been up there to settle him about 6 times...it's 8:45pm so he doesnt last very long before needing to be settled again!!! oh well it's the first night of the full routine...
we do bath, lights off only light in passage on. then rub down with a lavendar based baby lotion and then bottle and bed with his 'sleepy sheep' on the ocean noise.
so he's finally been sleeping about 30 minutes solidly and he's due for a feed soon....(9pm). hope he'll rather do a 4 hour stretch and last until 10pm. At least after that feed I hope he settles. going to take him into bed with me after that feed for about 30 minutes to make sure he's in a deep sleep then I'll transfer him to the cot.
He seems to sleep really well if he starts in the bed with us. But if we just hold him until he is sleeping and then put him in the bed, we end up having to pat and rock and shhhh him a lot.

Good evening girls...well it is 10 minutes away from my little ones birthday how exciting!

So glad I diid not have pages to catch up on...sorry no personals but thank you all for your well wishes.

Am calling gynae in am and he will tell me what time to go in. On Thursday he said Tuesday afternoon but did not give an exact time. WE have the chose of Tuesday or Thursday to decide over weekend but Tuesday it is!

Gosh have done so much today...wemt adn got some newborn clothes (thank you for that suggestion) and had alovely breakfast. Also got some really sexy granny full brief panties to go over the cut LOL! Dh and I were looking at all the granny panties adn I told him u need a large (they were low down and I could not bend). So down he went and came back up with size QUEEN!!!! (never heard of it). OMG...these could quite easily have fitted a adult elephant!. Wee were laughing so much i really was scared i would loose bladder control. ANyway got all the last minute things (got all my ingrediants as well now for jungle juice) and then spent the afternoon cooking and housework and packing and re packing and I am now happy with home and hospital bags.

So i am going to try somehow have a sleep...hope its a good deep one but cant see that happening! I will try keep you posted (via meags and schatsie) as much as I can tomorrow!

Cant beleive this day is now finally hear and now that it has just gone past mid night I can say that today I will become a mommy!

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all your advice, love, support through my pregnancy and cant wait to join you all in the world of moomyhood!
