I really don't understand why people get so defensive about this topic. Whichever way you lean.

Who cares if someone is judging you for your decision? It really doesn't matter as long as you are comfy with the choices that you made.

Maybe I'm just not passionate enough about it?

I'm not saying you are less of a mom for having a c sec. Just took the easy way out. I still stick by my guns. C sec is an operation.

Don't fool yourself Aribeth, that is exactly what you said and exactly what you meant or you wouldn't have been so stipulative! Just my 2 c.

Aribeth I don't necessarily disagree that natural is the best way to go but just wanted to say that c-section is not always the easy way out. And yes it is an operation. A rather unpleasant one.

I would just like to add I have no problem with how you choose to have your child enter the world. My BIGGEST concern is when a dr intentionally "bully (for lack of a better word) a mother to have a c-sect. My cousin's gynie told her rather straight forward he refuses to let her have a vaginal birth, cause his insurance won't cover a lawsuit should he make a mistake. He ONLY does c-sections. Tell me how is that NOT bullying?
