My best friend's doc also booked her for a c-section already. He told her at 21 weeks that the little girl is going to be very tall/long so it is better to do a section. WTF??

Nefertiti, I agree she is.

Jems, thats what I thought when I saw this.

I had pro-natural with both my boys, but the second time around, I wanted a C-Section cause I didnt want to feel all that pain again. If it wasnt for BF that convinced me to go natural again, I would of had a c-section

Oh, did I mention that my LG was 4.14kg at brith and 57cm long?

Pisses me off when doctors LIE!!!!!

They do lie, there is no way a baby is too big for natural. Rather tell the truth! Do they not take an oath?

I had a natural birth. Sore but got through it

Too scared to go for c-sec. Never had an operation before and not starting now.

Next one will be natural again.

Well done on 6 natural births without pain meds EP! You sure deserve a metal.

Hope 33 to answer your question: I had emergency c-section. Pain wise i was not in any pain, i was up and about in no time and didnt even take pain meds (though i recommend that you do so as apparently assists with possible inflammation). I feel i had a good experience and no complaints. I do think it is due to not knowing anything about a c-section when i was being wheeled in as i never thought it an option...so i had no expectations.

Julz my cousin emailed me today to say her doc laughed at her and asked her if she is serious about natural birth cause her baby will be 'big' and anything over 3.5kgs...caesar is better option.

I was quite horrified....but didnt say anything as I personally dont think 3.5kg baby is reason for caesar and a decision to be laughed at...so i can already see where the birth is headed.

I to am pro natural but believe there is a time and place for c-sections.
