Flowergirl - I am normally around PMS a very unpleasant person, I cannot imagine how it can be worse. Sounds really hectic. This TTC journey surely is tough one physically and emotionally!

Carmen - Thinking of you too. Sometimes a break just resets everything?

Nicollette - Hope those hot flushes are not getting much worse!!

Juno, sorry, hope AF stays away!! I would see the FS, my feeling always is to go to the specialist. I'm a legal advisor for a bank.

FG- I totally understand, I feel exactly the same, an emotional roller coaster! I sometimes feel like a monster, snap at anything! then teary. Feel so guilty when I've snapped, but can't seem to stop it.

AFM- did a HPT on Fri 14 dpiui - bfn, AF started the Saturday. Started Femara on Monday- follicle scan next Monday. This will be round 6 of IUI. I think we'll take a break from IUI for a few months and just TTC naturally and revisit IUI later in the year.

I am not really in a good space at the moment. I am almost sure that the last time I was on clomid, the only side effects I had were the hot flushes.

But boy, oh boy - this time seems to be different. I am on an emotional rollercoaster and am feeling so many things at once - anger, irritability, immense sadness (all for no apparent reason). And worst part is I know I am being irrational but no way to stop it. The smallest thing drives me totally mad and upsets me to no end.

Really hard and it is definitely taking its toll - not sure how long I can keep this up for

Hi ladies.
I am a mother to a 20month old girl, I am not sure when the right time would be to have a 2nd one. My daughter stays with her granny while I am at work but learns alot. I am not sure if I should wait a bit till she perhaps starts school and is a bit more independant but I am also scared of a big age gap.
2 years ago I became involved with natural products specially made to be used by pregnant ladies, for birth and babies and I run a website www.naturalmomtot.co.za and being surrounded by all these baby products and also being more involved in it now makes me very broody.
I had a c-section due to being in labour to long but I wouldve liked to have a natural birth (with epidural) can I give birth naturally with the 2nd one?

I had them all 3 months when I used clomid ttc with Emily. And now this time around, I never had them the first month, but then that turned out to be a dud month anyway with a 45+ day cycle. LAst month and this month - the hot flushes are back in full force, so I am confident about it working!

Maybe 3rd time lucky again??

I thought I was imagining those hot flushes - but it's pretty real - isn't it!! Do you have any other side effects?

Juno - It wont do harm to go and see whats going on - but I would just go to your regular gynae at this point, and let him/her advise further.

AFM - I started the clomid on Monday (CD4), and hot flushes started this morning and thats a good sign - means its doing something! So let's see what happens.

Also happy to report - that we had a lovely weekend without any tantrums
