Juno- yay for the smiley!! Good luck. No it's not too early to Ovulate cd 13 is a good day for ovulation. there would have been enough time to grow the follies and for the lining to thicken.

Hi ladies. GW - glad you're feeling a bit better than before. Sorry that everyone else seems to be taking strain in one way or another. Today is day one on fertomid for me. First time ever. I'm hoping to not even notice. Any advice or suggestions? Scan next Tuesday. I am quite excited.

Well I got my smiley face today so O in the next 24/36hrs and then the hoping begins again...I moved my official CD1 out as I realised that I started counting from the day of spotting which lasted nearly 4 days. So I am CD12 today. Looks like O will be CD13ish. Is this early to 0? Or rather how long was my previous cycle then?

And this time I test when I am meant to and not before...

GW - that's good news. Glad you were able to work your way through. Your approach is excellent. The temping and meds route can driove one batty.
I also stopped temping a few months ago. It gave some relief.

Juno, yes Halle Berry does give hope. I've decided against IVF, an will continue with IUI.

Well am in the TWW, will test on 31 May, if AF doesn't show up before then.

Seems as if everyone has been very quiet...

AFM: I think I am finished for now with my therapy sessions. It was pretty rough, but hopefully I can put all the nonsense behind me. It amazes me how trauma from your childhood can stay trapped in your body for years. Anyway, my "shrink" is of the opinion that when I am ready to do so I must just cast the chips wherever they may fall with regards to the TTC thing. We both believe in a higher power and that what should happen will happen at the right time. So, whenever I feel ready to resume the BD I can do so, but with the understanding that it may or may not happen.

I am kind of happy with that. I don't think I am going to continue the charting but will still do HPT to determine that I don't have another ectopic. I am glad I did the charting thing, now at least I know that I don't ovulate at the same time every month, but I think it has served its purpose.

I don't think I have energy for the whole "clomid ride" with going in for sonars and trigger shots etc. Maybe later I might change my mind.

Comforting to read about people like Halle Berry who is currently pregnant at 46!

I didn't think about the possibility of struggling to fall pregnant and was fine with with being 36/37 with my first. I just regret not starting with my 2nd sooner as I did not consider that I may struggle falling pregnant (or rather being able to keep the pregnancy) considering that everything about the first was smooth sailing.
