Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Long post warning..

GW I hear you re your thinking about a 2nd child…but facing up to it is another story entirely. Have no idea how I am going to accept that without much internal resistance. Not a battle I want to even think about now!

My lb is now 3yrs 4months and from what I can tell from talking to others (and reading your accounts) is apparently quite an easy child. I feel very blessed as I “just” manage and would hate to think how I would cope with a more difficult child. I have also really battled adjusting to life with a child. FG the nursery school that Liam is at now doesn’t accept kids under 2.5 and advise starting at 3 because they generally find they don’t cope. We started Liam at 2.5 and he had a tremendous battle keeping up with his peers and is only now more or less on par. We only kept him there because emotionally he was very content and loved his teachers.

Carmen I hate doing the CT-Jhb run in a day! The pits..what do you do?

Well DPO9 today and I am 99.9% sure I am out for this month. Since my MC I have been getting very strong PMS symptoms one of which is SUCH painful boobs at more or less the same time – won’t talk about the tears…. My last cycle was 24 days and it looks like it may be the same this month if I compare my symptoms since I’ve been keeping track of my cycles.

Some advice. I will be going into my 4th cycle since my MC earlier this year. Should I see somebody to maybe see whether there is a problem and if so should this person be a FS or my gynae? For the three pregnancies I have had I have consistently fallen pregnant the month after we started TTC’ing so am just wondering if everything is ok after the MC. It was spontaneous and I haven’t had a follow up with my gynae since then.

Thought for day - work, what is that...

Hello everybody. So I had my follicle scan today and according to my dr it looked good. I had two follicles on the left (15 and 16 ? in size) and the other side is "resting". Now we wait for my LH surge - which means I must go for a blood test every morning. Happy days!! If I haven't had the surge by Saturday morning's then I give myself a trigger shot on Saturday evening, and then they do the insemination on Monday. All so technical. Let's hope it happens before then.
How is everybody else doing?

When I did a round of fertomid it was cd4-cd8.
And the first round of Femara - I saw the FS on cd4 and started the femara the same day.
So, sure you will be able to take from Monday.

Hey Flowergirl - i know some dr's do day 4,5,6,7,8 - that's actually what was written with my script.

P.S - Shelley I think you'll be ok. It seems to be the girls who become monsters around age 3

So, AF arrived today. CD27(i think) might be out by a day. So, at least a normal cycle this month compared to last months 45 day cycle!

My decision was to do 2 more months of fertomid and if nothing, then take stock again and decide if we wanted to try something more drastic or whether we actually wanted to just drop the ttc thing for a while until Emily is older or maybe even indefinitely.

However........ I have been trying to call my gynae and they must have closed the offices early today. So, I would have had to start taking the clomid on Sunday (day 3), but without a script, thats not going to happen

So, I guess I might be out this month.
