Hi there ladies...

Just had a quick catch up on all the news!!

@Bronz - i'm so sorry i missed the meet on Sunday... Tayla started with all the signs and symtoms of the dreaded flu going around... and was terribly niggly and clingy... so figured it would be better to stay away. I guess the next one...

@Scribblingal - found a house yet?? I've been searching frantically in fear that as soon as ours hits the market it will sell like yours did... and then i'll have move in with my folks until we find a new spot... not ideal!!!

don't have much news to report from my side really. We've noticed a trend with Tayla... 4:30 - 5:30 is now officially our "Suicide Hour"!! I've heard of people speaking about it - and always laughed it off... until it started in the Painczyk household! OMG! Tantrum after tantrum... whining, moaning, performing for 1 solid hour... She is SO going to be the next Charlene Theron! Such a little actress.... She has also learnt how to open the kitchen cupboard - the BIG one... and is now trying to climb inside the cupboard and up the shelves to get to the biscuit shelf. Apparently at the daymother she has the decency to just go to the biscuit cupboard and knock on it... i suppose i should be pleased she has manners around others!!!
I have to say though - i am very happy that our sleep time woes are a thing of the past for now... 7pm like clockwork she is in her cot and fast asleep! She is soooo pooped by then after her day of playing and performing!

Anyhoo - let me pen off... got plenty of sewing to do before the end of the month!!

Hey Bronz - Luke usually goes down anytime from 7:30 onwards - most nights he is in bed about 9pm - hence the fact that I never go on moomie in the evenings - cos by then I am sooooo tired that I just go straight to bed. Last night he was exhausted cos he never slept at all yesterday! So dearest mommy had some meeeee time!

How you doing theis morning? Dis Graeme sleep well?

What time do you normally get Luke down if 7: 30 is early? Thats late for G, hence me wanting put him on the next flight to USA.

Didn't have a fun evening with G! Took and hour and a half to get him down. Then felt the top molars on both sides cutting... So some pain meds and he is out! One thing I cant wait to hand Graeme over to DH and go have a long shower or what ever I feel like doing! 16 more sleeps!!!

Claudia G is the same. But he has started hitting if some thing doesn't go his way!!

Any one have ideas to stop that?

Good morning mommies...

So I survived the weekend with 5 children in total...

WOW is all I can say!

Luke and Connor did not play well together (there is a years difference between them) - So I had both of them throwing tantrums most of the weekend and fighting with each other for my attention! I was glad that they both napped at different times cos it made it so much easier for the "individual" attention time without them bickering at each other.

The elder children were great, except for Liam slamming doors when I gave him a time out for jumping over the wall and going to play in the road after he knew that he was not allowed too..

In all the whole experience was quite nice and very much different than I had imagined. But as I told my cousin I will do it again!

This side things are going okey... Luke's patching this week (touch wood) - so far so good. Next week he sees the specialist again!

Claudia_B - I am having the same issues with Luke and sleeping and waking up a 3/4 times a night (luckily its just for his bottle) - but its still tiring.

I read on the forum about reducing the milk for him at night and limiting his intake and I am starting to do it. I dont even fill his bottle anymore, I put approximately 100ml in.

Pinky.... Yikes August is still a half a month away... Good luck and I hope you guys get some well deserved time out with DH!!!

Did you end up going to the meet Bronz?
