Morning ladies

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Went to the GP last night. 1 nice strong heart beat. Still as scared as well. My last MC, i was fine till my 10 week check. So i cant wait to go to the gynae on the 30 April.

Yes Girly, i remember you. Our daughters are a few weeks apart. (i gave birth on 22/07/2010) How is like Miss K doing?

OOH easter weekend is so needed, i totally forgot how tired you can be during your first trimester. My LG is little bit ill, hopefully it passes by the weekend so we can all rest.
I am so staying off the roads this easter not only because petrol is going up so ridiculously but people are maniacs.

With my last pregnancy i was involved in a serious car accident, my daughter wasnt in her carseat at the time. So i am terrified of the road during any kind of festivities. Luckily no one was seriously injured. Drunk driver of the other car just laughed it off. (that is how drunk he was)

Monic@R, i so know how paranoid you are. I think we all feel that way till the day we holding our precious bundles. I dont even want to talk to by DH about how nervous, scared, paranoid i am cause i think he will think i am crazy. Dont think he completely understands what i am going thru.

Im off to tell my manager now that i am 6weeks pregnant, he is quite a doosh at times. I think the earlier i tell him the better prepared he can be that i will be gone in November.

PS: EDD is 26 November.

Hi Ladies

Im 16 weeks this week. I am super paranoid though. My scan is only for next week friday the 13th. Was supposed to see the gynae this week at 16 weeks but there was no space so can only go next week.

I am super paranoid and I just hope that all is well. Im at that stage now where I feel normal - bump was growing but seems to have stopped now - and I still can't feel any movements inside. Holding fingers and toes and everything else cos Im just so worried.
if it did not cost so much each time - I would definately have gone to see the doc and just waited until she could see me.

Every now and then I think i feel something but then I think its probably just my mind playing tricks on me.

So easter this weekend - nice long weekend! yaya!
Ive started sorting out so that I can get to all the old baby things i have - cos I was starting to panic a bit thinking gee that theres probably only 4 - 5 more paydays before baby comes and that is just not enough time.... got to start getting my butt into gear and start preparing for this baby.

As for the other ladies - Im sure you all just as paranoid as me for the next scan. Good luck and hope it all turns out ok.

I will definately be looking out for a bun or turtle on the next scan even though we have been told its probably another girl. But I will check and see if the theory is correct.

How did ur scan go last night? Do keep posting here. There's a few of us who've been through MC's so we know what you are going through and the anxiety is at an all time high.
Even tho I saw LO at 8 weeks and I'm 10w now I'm still somewhat scared of the chances of an MC. So ur definitely not alone hun!


Belaine so happy all is well with baby! Was s/he hiding that u couldnt see the parts?

Well just a quick catch up on me.
I am currently 6 weeks pregnant, yes still very early days. I just need to share it will people that are going thru the same things as me.
Had 1mc b4 LG and 1mc after. Going to GP tonight for a scan (gynae on leave till end April) I need to go do a scan to put my mind at ease.

Hi there!!

Everything went well at the gynea he is happy with me and baby. Baby weighs 150g, wasnt able to see the gender but it didnt matter. We could here the heartbeat which was awesome. we were in middelburg the weekend and we got lo a campcot at game now we are struggling to assemble it.

Nola - still not feeling any movement cant wait for that first feeling but looks like im going to wait a little longer.

Congrats on team pink!! Robyn now the shopping go into a higher gear??

JB so sorry to hear about K hope she is much better very soon, and your scan is getting closer and closer...

scans is hard to figure out but will keep the bun and turtle in mind. Esp we are getting everything on dvd.

Hey ladies

Hope everyone had a nice, relaxed weekend. Jeez, Joburg weather! It has become winter like overnight! Just as well I shopped in advance for my LG. All her winter woolies were ready for her.

I am 14wks 1 day today! 2 more weeks till we can hopefully find out what team we're in. Can't wait! I have never actually seen the comparison between girl and boy. With my LG, I couldn't really tell either. Just trusted the gynae. I wonder if I can google it?

@Joybaby: Gynae said I must come for stitch this Wednesday...but I won't be able to so will probably go next week only.
