Hi everyone.

I'm finally on maternity leave. 36 weeks today. Saw doc on Monday, no scan but put me on that machine that monitors heart rate and Liam got 10 out of 10! He spent the entire time kicking and had hiccups which made such a loud noise, was quite cute. Doc didn't say much about the kidney story, I'm seeing him again on the 17th Dec and then having Liam 22 Dec if he behaves himself and stays in there! Feeling very uncomfortable, can't pick anything up off the floor and not sleeping well either. Trying to have fun with my lb but so tired.

My cousin's wife had their third child yesterday on their bathroom floor! Her contractions weren't really that intense and then suddenly she got the urge to push and hubby had to help. They have 2 boys and now a girl so that was an awesome surprise for them.

Joans, sounds like you will be having your big boy soon, so exciting.
Robsync, poor you, really pray you don't have long to wait

Better go, I smell a poo nappy wafting from my lbs direction!

Hi Ladies

Joans, sjoe, klink my jou mannetjie is lus om in Desember uit te kom sodat hy kersfees saam met julle kan hou  Vat dit maar rustig en laat weet ons wat Gynea se oor bloeddruk.

Robsyc, wow, you have had quite a rough time. Sorry to hear that. Good thing is baby is still doing fine. All the best for you and hope you can get a breather in between all the labour scares!

AFM, I had an appointment yesterday, our LG is growing well, she is 2,3kgs now. Her big sister was 3,97kg at birth, so I think this one is heading for the same weight class

I am feeling quite uncomfortable now and getting swollen feet. Have heartburn off and on as well. But apart from that, I am healthy and happy.

Have a great day ladies!

Good luck for Friday! Keep us posted! In the meantime just relax and take it easy! Not too much longer where you get to put your feet up and do nothing hehe!

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling horrible! Hopefully it means they're coming soon! 37 weeks is perfectly fine, that's what they're trying to get me to..I'm 34 weeks now and they've stopped it 3 times, all with different meds! So there's no more meds haha! But they said from 34 weeks he may even skip NICU because of the steroids they gave me. So we'll see!

You're right, I think either way we're going to have a baby on our group soon soon! Pack your bags hehe ;)

Hi Robyn,

glad to hear babe is still hanging in there, but I also understand, I've been feeling quite miserable too. Let us know how the appointment goes! Let's see which one of us goes first :P but I think soon we'll have a baby in our group :) happiness!

Rakker that's exactly what we're thinking! Luckily my bags are pretty much packed, just a couple of the little things like toiletries that I still need to put in. But I'm going in again on Friday and then we'll see what we're gonna do. If the blood pressure is still high, we're delivering next week. Luckily I'll be about 37 weeks by then, and baby is really big so I think he'll be able to give the NICU a miss, which would make me really happy. But I'm holding thumbs that we can push it onwards until the 18th or so. But let's see! Little critter likes to mess up mommy's plans :P

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been quiet, I've been having a rough couple of weeks! Been in hospital 3 times now, each time in labour and each time they managed to stop it. But the last time last week I was 1cm dilated. So not much, but it's not closed anymore! I am honestly feeling so horrible lately. Always nauseous and just general ill feeling, which is horrible. So I'm not the happiest of chappies lately haha! I just want little Nathan to come now to be honest...I'm prepared for it now and I think it's time! Have a docs app tomorrow morning so will find out more then. She has not been very sympathetic towards me and I'm rather annoyed by that. Always seems as if she doesn't have time for me...even when I was in preterm labour! It was such a scary thing and she was so blasé about it and then just saw me for 2 mins and left. Anyway, maybe it's just my emotions going wild! I really am crazy at the moment, I won't even deny it haha! My poor hubby. Doc thinks he is coming in Dec though, so it's all just a waiting game!

Eek Joanie that is actually so exciting! He's ready to meet his mommy and daddy :) at least everything is done now and you're ready for him! High Blood pressure is a very serious thing in late pregnancy, so hope it lowers soon! Keep us updated!

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

Joans, I hope your bags are packed... My BP was normal a week before my son was born and in that last week it shot up and he was born at 34 weeks 5 days. Just saying, it might be the same with you ;) .
