Hi ladies,

I hope everyone is well! Joanie I'm glad your bp is normal, let us know how tomorrow goes!

Nadia, I found some nice cheap button down pjs at Pep. I was pleasantly surprised at what they had there!

Ok so I wanted to ask you ladies for some advice:
I am so incredibly emotional at the moment - all the hormones, so I don't know if I'm over reacting, but my instincts are telling me I'm not.
I have had really bad pains for the past 2 days...but not contractions pains or ligament pains, it's like an incredible pressure where baby is and it hurts to move. Like when I go wee it hurts to lean forward and wipe (tmi sorry) but it doesn't hurt like ligament pain, it hurts in the sense that my vag os going to explode...if that makes sense?
Anyway, had my appointment last week and told my doc about the pressure - which wasn't as bad then- and she just shrugged! She saw me for like 2 mins and didn't even do an internal exam! I was so surprised because I was dilated the last time I went into preterm labour so surely she should check?! Especially if I'm complaining of pains and pressure! She literally did not even answer my question. Just looked at me and shrugged and said see you in 2 weeks. I feel so dejected and uncared for. She didn't even spend more than 5mins with us! I am very disappointed in her conduct in the last couple of months, she was so great in the beginning but now when the time comes that I need her more she doesn't care! It honestly feels like she's just in it for the money.

Anyway, sorry about my ranting...the reason I ask for advice, is what do you ladies think I should do? If I phone her offices she'll just tell me to go into maternity ward if I feel pain, then they'll admit me and I will have to stay in hospital again and I cannot do that! I have been in there for the last month totalling over 2 weeks and they just have no sympathy and I cannot rest there. I am contemplating going to another hospital and gynae all together and getting a second opinion but I wouldn't know where to go and if this was appropriate.

I just feel as if something is not right, and I can't explain it, and I don't know if it's because my hormones are all over or what. But I keep being treated like an idiot by my doctor and the hospital when I phone and complain so it's made me stay away.

Anyway, sorry for long post. I'm just hoping for some advice and maybe some sanity if I've lost mine haha!

Hey everyone!

just a quick update, was at the doc this morning and bloodpressure seems to be stable, and no other issues (no protein in urine, no issues with amniotic fluid or anything of that sort) so we're checking again on Tuesday, but for now it seems like there's no immediate need to deliver. So we'll see what happens!

Have a lovely weekend ladies

Eeeeek so much excitement on this thread lately with all the babies wanting to come early!

Are you all prepped and ready?

Thinking of all of you as we enter this last stretch! And wishing you all easy births with speedy recoveries!

I can't seem to find button down pjs in dark colours anywhere! Anyone manage to find? Otherwise I'm resorting to yoga pants and tank tops!

Had a lovely little baby shower at work the other day and got some lovely gifts and a nice baby city voucher from my team so that was awesome!

Hope you are all well :)

Hey everyone!

Looks like we should rename our group December babies at this rate!

Robyn I'm with you, it's nice to have some time off, I am on maternity leave now as well, but I am busy packing some boxes inbetween, for the move, but nothing too hectic and taking constant breaks. I actually feel fine when I stay mobile, I get uncomfortable when I lie down for too long. It's strange. Anyway, I am so glad to hear your little one is staying put for now, lets all try make it to that 37 week mark! But we'll probably have our little ones really close to each other :)

Karmie glad to hear all is going well over there, and I think many of us can relate with the heartburn. Tums are my best friends at this stage, haha!

Natsvan, glad to hear Liam is doing well, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that he stays put until the 22nd! I'm also struggling with reaching down, which is a little frustrating as I'm nesting and I want to tidy up everything. Wow, having a baby on the bathroom floor seems a bit hectic!! I know now that although I'm getting a c-section the chances are quite good that I might go into labour before, so I'll be really cautious about that, and get to the hospital as soon as I can.

MommyMe I'm hoping that the soft cervix is from the previous birth, but let's see what happens! I hope they can delay things as long as possible, but at least after 32weeks things look good if baba needs to be delivered (they usually start delivering high risk pregnancies from 32 weeks, and usually they do great) But keep us posted. I also feel the pain with preparation, we were bargaining on at least another week so we feel like there's still a mountain of things to sort out before Nic comes, but we can't really do much if he needs to come earlier. Doc said 70% chance that we'll deliver next week. This also means we have to make a plan with hubby's work, but I'm really grateful that my maternity leave has at least started. It's funny, my BP was still really low at 32 weeks, and now all of a sudden it's high. First time in my life I have a high reading! But that's pregnancy for you.

Other than that my bags are packed, just want to still get one or two things from the shops later, but then I am really to roll whenever! My boobies are definitely anticipating Nic's arrival, the floodgates have really opened today :pinch: Will update after my appointment on Friday, feeling a bit nervous, everything is happening so quickly now!!

Hope you lovelies have a great and comfortable day

Hi ladies!

Just came back from docs appointment. Little one is still happy and moving around and staying put for now. Although the doc says he is definitely coming in Dec, and more likely in the next 2 weeks! I'm having really bad pains and feels like he's going to fall out and so I'm so happy I'm on bed rest. Walking is honestly a nightmare!

Natsvan, yay for maternity leave! Not long left now! Exciting :)

Mommyme, that really does sound like signs of preterm labour. Shouldn't you call your gynae? First time I went into preterm labour my cervix was soft and second time a week later I was dilated already!

Karmie, how far along are you now? Our little guy is 2.3kg as well and we are 34w3d!

Hope everyone is doing well! Enjoy getting the rooms ready a d pack your bags ladies hehe!

Hi all almost mammas to be

Wow alot has happened. I somehow missed some posts. Joans sjoe hes ready to come out it seems and hes a good weight as well. Robs glad to hear baba is still in there. But can understand how frustrating it must be. What did doc say this morning. Come update.

I might be joining you on the early delivery, but im only 32w3d now, eish.

Went to see the midwife this morning and told her about my upset tummy and some light cramping on Sunday and also more mucusy type discharge. All together with some other pains she was a bit concerned it might be early labor signs. So she did a internal exam and found by cerviks a little in front and starting to soften. But. Before getting to concerned she said it might be from previous pregnancy that the second time round its just softer or something like that. So im trying not to stress to much but booked off for this week and on magnesium and other pills just to try and keep everything calm for now.

Seeing gynae again in 2 weeks. BP are still fine. On the lower side. And baby doing good.

So we'll see what these babies may bring to us inDecember.

Everyone allready on maternity- enjoy. I need to go in next week to finalize everything as imnot going back... long story. Midwife wanted to book me off completely but i just cant. So just have to hope and pray all stays good for a couple more weeks, also to give us time to get everything athome ready.

Other than that.also getting bit uncomfortable. Some bad heartburn so having tums like sweets and some swollen hands.

Have a lovely day.

Twin angel baby girls born and went to heaven
