Hello Everyone!

It's really quiet on here! How are you all still doing? Big? Swollen?

I've just come back from the doc, Nic is about 3.3kg! For some reason I also had a high blood pressure reading today, for the first time in my life, so I'm going back on Friday to check. Also my cervix is apparently really soft, so if things go on like this is looks like I'll be going in NEXT WEEK! Eeeeeek! Wasn't quite prepared for that one, I was thinking maybe we'll be going in the 18th or 19th at the earliest. But this one has always liked to upset everyone's plans so it's no big surprise :P

Anyone else moving over to December? Robyn is your little one still hanging in there?

Hope you all have a gorgeous week

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been so quiet, things have been ROUGH, so much to organise! As far as baby shopping goes, I think I have literally everything now, my bags are almost completely packed with the exception for some last minute toiletries and small things. Will come post pics of the baby room as soon as it's finished, hoping it's this weekend!

MommyMe dis goes, vat maar eerder rustig! Dit lyk of almal se babsies bietjie haastig begin word, so ons moet maar mooi kyk :silly:

With regards to the leaking, I have been leaking for a couple of weeks. Not enough to have to use breast pads, some days heavier than others, but definitely leaking. But apparently that doesn't really say much, I just know that at least I am making colostrum, but leaking or not leaking doesn't predict breastfeeding ability according to my doc.

Tomorrow is my last day of work :woohoo: can't wait to be done, both me and DH have had a nightmare of a month. Mother-in-law surprised us by booking us in for a day of pampering at the 12 apostles spa on sunday, I can't wait!!!!! I can really use a prenatal massage for this achy back of mine! 35 weeks today and going for my next appointment on Tuesday, and then we'll discuss a date for my c-section. Nic was already 2.5kgs at my previous appointment almost 3 weeks ago, so I reckon he'll be a bit over 3kgs, so I might even go for the c-section before Christmas. Can't believe how time has flown by ladies!

Back to work, sigh! But starting next week I am sleeping all day :P Have a great day ladies, and come update!

hi everyone how are doing on this rainy Thursday

I am 34 weeks today  I cant wait for baby to come now

you guys are very quite how is everyone's week going I need to go and buy the last things I need for the hospital this weekend and wash some more baby stuff

I am going for my next scan in one week I think Stiaan is already weighing near 3kg cant wait to go and see

Listen I see on the April group that some girls boobies are already starting to leak is that the case with any of you guys I have nothing - but I don't know if it will be the same as with my first boy I did have any milk nothing he was drinking 40 - 60 ml every feeding I tried pumping for a few days and I could not get more that 60ml the whole day and it took me hours - so I gave up on the breast feeding don't think its going to work again

Hi ladies!

Sorry for being so quiet, things are a bit crazy at the moment!
Just a quick update - little Nathan is still in the oven and I have been released from hospital on strict bed rest until delivery...which could happen at any time. So I'm on high alert and everything is all up in the air! It's quite frustrating not knowing what's happening but I guess that's the joys of being a parent hey! I first noticed things were different when I was at work and started having a tightening all across my stomach to my back and it was happening frequently so I decided to time it. It was rhythmic and about 4 mins apart, so I went in to hospital and they said I was in labour! So listen to your bodies! It started out not very painful just uncomfortable but then progressed to be quite painful!

Hope everyone else is well! Sorry for short message but I am so tired I need to get as much sleep as I can! :)
