On the positive baby was very active last night was so awesome feeling the flutters and movements! Think he meant to keep the very active movement until his siblings birthday!

My son turned 5 yesterday, time really does fly guys so enjoy every minute with your babas!

I'm not going to the babysense seminar. Would like to but have assignments due and going on holiday next month so trying not to spend too much!

How is everyone else doing?

Hi Ladies

Went our for lunch and had such a craving for chutney sticks. Got some.

Are any of you eating biltong/sticks etc? I try not to but sometimes I just get such a big craving.. and don't eat it everyday though.

Also just as info. Eric Reeder auctioneers in Parow have Pampers New Born at R60 a packet. Apparently normally cost R99. 2-5kg.

Robs yes hubby is going with, but he said only the half day one, not the full day. guess its better than nothing and a full day is quite tiring. so we are having some breakfast early morning and then registration starts at 12:30. Excited!!

So great to read everyone's updates and hear how well you are all doing! Little ones are growing fast now! I'm almost half way already! In my 19th Week! EEk! So exciting though! Feeling him kick more often, feels so strange. But a good kind!

MommyMe, I really want to go to the BabySense seminar, hoping at the end of the month I can afford to get tickets! Are you taking hubby with you?

Blessedw1 good to hear about the measles. Ek dink ek het shot gekry toe ek nog kind was,want is immuun. So neem maar aan dit hou so lank of hoe.

Had some spotting again last night bright red. But felt baby kick very lightly this morning on the way to work, so not worrying. Will def inform my gynae again next week about all this bleeding. And also my eczema.

Ladies in Cape Town, are you going to the Babysense seminar next month? I know Joans you said you wanted to go? Cant wait.

Morning all!!

My sister had german measels two weeks ago. Ek was so bekommerd want ek was in kontak met haar . Met my 13 week checkup het dr bloedtoetse gedoen en een van hulle was vir die rubella virus( german measels). Toe ek hom nou laasweek sien, toe gee hy my die uitslae van die toetse en my rubella count was hoog, so ek sou dit nie gekry het dit nie. Maar ek bly nou total weg van hulle vir die volgende maand of so... Ek het nie gegaan vir immunity shot nie want baby was n surprise

Very smart move on the clothes Joans, some of the clothes we got and bought for our first one she did not even get to wear They grow so fast!

APotgieter, do you have no immunity to German measles? I am the same, with my first one and now again with this one. Because this babs was a surprise, I never had the chance to go to GP to get the immunity shot. I was so paranoid at first, but it turned out okay. I told everyone I interact with to please inform me if someone they know has it, no-one I knew got it, so it seems not that common. Just try to stay away from large groups of kiddies if you can.
