Nadia and Robsyc, your names are beautiful.

And I also love Isabella. My mom think its to "old" but I absolutely think its very cute. Also Grace for a girl. My other 2 angel babies was Kristi and Emma :side:

Robs I would be so angry with that DR, they can sometimes rush and because its their work and they do it the whole day they don't realise how special it is for us waiting for 3,4 or even more than a month just to listen to that little heartbeat again, pfft!

MommyMe, i don't have any pics with me at the moment because I'm at work, using my work computer hee hee!
The pic from the scan we did on Monday was not a clear one, it was almost as if my gynae was in a rush! Such a special time for us and I'm a little agitated that she rushed it so much all we got to see was his spine and to confirm he was a boy. Didn't even let us listen to the heartbeat! Our scan is also at Fetal assessment! I'm sure all will go great for you xxx

Anyway! My stomach has literally POPPED out!! There is absolutely no denying it now.

We have decided on naming our little one Nathan. My husband is Jewish and his family are very religious, and so that is a lovely Jewish name that both he and I love. His mother wanted us to name him after his grandfather - Rudolph!!! Can you imagine! So I compromised and his second name will be Rudi. So lovely hearing everyone's names for their little ones.

MommyMe, I LOVE your little ones name!!! If we were having a girl we had decided on either Madison or Isabella! So beautiful x

Shame Karmie! That's pregnancy brain for you :)

MommyMe, glad you are on the mend!

Robsyc, congrats on team blue!

Joans, I'm patiently waiting for the weekend!

I love hearing the names :) makes it so real!

At the moment, out favourite is Adam.

I'm still not feeling lots of movement. Sometimes im convinced it's baby and other times I'm not! Confusing - you'd never say I've done this before :)

HI almal

Soooo bly dit is bietjie warmer vandag en die sonnetjie skyn :woohoo:

Nadia I know that feeling. its painful and also sometimes feel that there is a lot of pressure. I am on day 4 without spotting

I'm feeling much better. just some blocked nose and cough now and then. My eczema is also starting to get better. I had some seriously painful eczema the past couple of weeks. :pinch:

Robsyc, post some pics. :P I am also doing the 20 week scan, but only in September at Fetal Assessment. I must say the experience this time around is so much better there seeing that that was the place we got our bad news the previous time. We also have not bought anything yet. I do however started buying nappies from early on, stacking up.

Karmie..oh dear, I really hope they can accommodate you soon, shame. Let us know and vent as much as you want. you are most welcome B)

Alicia how are you doing?

All the rest?

We have started thinking about names as well.

I really liked Madison, but seeing that we are afr born and bred (spelling) haha, we also decided sort of on Lea for the first name. Lea Madison. :cheer:

Cant wait for the weekend, not too much plans, just relax and be at home with hubby. :silly:

Hi Ladies

So happy to hear everyone is doing well and starting to feel movement, it makes it so much more real!

So I have had a not so great start to my morning, I realised this morning that I had an appointment yesterday(!) with the OBGYN  I have no excuse, I just completely forgot about it, can kick myself as I am so eager to find out if its blue or pink :headbang: I checked the calendar this morning, as I recall having an appointment soon, and was terribly embarrassed when I discovered it was yesterday. I normally put reminders in my phone, so all in all, a complete porridge brain moment.

I guess something like this was bound to happen sometime, I have my LGs first birthday coming up so making plans for that, we have friends coming over to stay for a few days tomorrow and work is absolutely out of control busy at the moment.

I will just have to swallow my pride now, call the OBGYN, apologize and re-schedule.

Sorry for that bit of venting, just had to get it out of my system!

Hi Ladies!

So good to hear you are all doing well, and starting to feel little one moving! What a great feeling :) I just started to feel my little boy the other day, at first I thought it was really bad gas hee hee  But now I realise that those 'bubble' feelings are actually my angel kicking. So special!

Nadia, I also frequently have the round ligament pain, it's sometimes such a sharp stabbing pain going right across my stomach, the worst when I get up too quickly! I had really bad pelvic girdle pain 3 weeks back and went to see a special physio and she gave me some exercises which have helped a lot. Basically activating your stomach muscles to secure your pelvis so that the ligaments don't have to work too hard, and it has helped so much!

We had our scan on Monday, it was so incredibly special. Doc confirmed it is a little boy! He gave us a good show! We have our 20/21 week 3D scan on 2nd September, very exciting! Is anyone else doing this scan?

How far has everyone gotten with planning rooms? Have you got any furniture and accessories yet? I feel like I'm so behind, but I work at least 10 hours a day and when I'm not working I am just so tired! Hoping to at least go and view some cots this weekend, maybe even get one.

I had something else to say but now I've forgotten it. that happens so often. Sometimes i stare into a blank space for ages trying to remember and then get so frustrated because I can't. the other day hubby couldn't find his wallet, so I told him to just call it. I thought it would ring like a cellphone. I was being serious, until he pointed and laughed at me and I realised what I had said. oops.

Anyway, have a fabulous day everyone! Almost the weekend! I can't wait!
