Just a quick one, I just found out baba indaba is in Cape Town this weekend! I had no idea, and now I see that the pram system I want is going to be on special there for like 2000 instead of 3000 (which it costs at babies r us) so do check it out! Specials seem really really good, so I am so excited that I found out about this in time. Maybe see you guys there

Its almoust weekend then another week is gone

I am very patiently waiting to feel baba move I felt a little something last night but I sat real still after that for a few minutes but nothing maybe soon

Hi TCC84 very cute scan pics I love seeing everyone's scan pics - I heard that they say that after the first child you will be able to recognize movements of the second baby earlier - I have felt something a week ago and I have already had a little boy but I still not sure if it was the baby or not - and then the incident last night I just kept thinking I don't feel bloated or gassie maybe it is the baby.

Jones - Thumbs up for DH being able to feel baba kick this is such an exciting time in our pregnancies

I thought about getting one of those fetal Doppler but I agree we are at the point to start feeling baba move - and its not cheap hey so I would rather spent the money on something else (+ if I had to buy one I would walk around with the Doppler the whole day - lol )

I never get around to writing a post so thought I better make an effort today. I wait so long that by the time I've read all your posts I've forgotten who has said what. You all are so good and responding to each individual about what they have written, not sure I can remember every detail sorry

So good to see you all doing well and your pregnancies are going well. I've been feeling so much better now that I am in my second trimester. Have energy finally

Mommyme I did see that you had some bleeding. Always scary no matter what the cause. Happy to hear baby is all good. Hope it stops soon and your headaches go away.

I went for an ultrasound on the 18th of July I was 12w5d. My due date showed 24 January instead of the 26/27th. Baby was healthy and never stopped moving. Was so cute watching the legs stretching out. Will try upload the scan pictures (not sure I know how). I cannot wait to find out the gender. My next appointment is on 15 August, really hoping baby is cooperative and lets us see.

I know it seems way early but they do say when it is not your first and you know what it feels like you can feel the baby move earlier. Well I have definitely felt some movement. Not kicks or hard movements, just very slight, small movements but know its definitely baby.

My belly has definitely grown. There is quite a bump now. I am still wearing my normal pants but just can't do the buttons up so use the belly band to smooth everything out.

I was in hospital with my youngest son last week (he had his adenoids out) and it reminded me of when I was in hospital having my boys. Can't wait for that time again. It such a special time

Anyway, that's my update. Only 2 days left of the week

MommyMe I was also really tempted by the heart detector, but time went by so quickly that soon I'll feel baby move all the time anyway! Hope you are feeling better, I've also had some bad headaches.

Nadia something must have went wrong with my upload, will try again! I also had an incident standing in a long queue at pick 'n pay where I almost fainted. After that hubby usually tags along when I go grocery shopping, he's very protective right now! Hope the teeth clears up soon. Also recently noticed my gums are bleeding alot more than before when I brush, so its probably something that gets aggravated with pregnancy

Karmie thanks! I think I'm just freaked out because I'm usually very small and none of my pants fit anymore, which is an odd feeling for me (I've been about the same size since highschool). But yeah!

Plus side is that I've started feeling babs kick! DH also felt it two nights ago, he gave us two nice and clear kicks while DH's hand was on my belly. He cried a little it seems to be getting more clear now, I know what I felt two weeks ago was movement now that its stronger. Very exciting! I've even started talking and singing to him a bit. Apparently a good time to do so. Anyway, let's see if I can get the belly pic up now!

Nadia, I don't know yet, I was exactly 13 weeks at the last scan, and it looked like a girl, but because it is still early, they could not confirm 100%. So, still unsure at this stage.

Robsyc, have never used Utrogestan so can't say. And like you say, sometimes better not to google because you don't have the full context and end up freaking out unnecessarily.

Joans, couldn't see your belly pic! I am showing but some days I feel huge and others not too bad. I didn't show early with my first pregnancy so this is weird to me.

Karmie, do you know whether you are having a girl or boy yet?

On my side, firstly I nearly fainted in PnP on Friday. Was so scary. The queues were long and I had a thick coat on, and there was a woman that smelt so strongly of sweat that I think the combo made my head spin. I had to sit down and phone my hubby who came through to fetch me. I am also struggling with my teeth! Second round of antibiotics and root canal scheduled for Friday - thought when the first round of antibiotics cleared the infection, we could avoid the root canal till after pregnancy but doesnt seem to be happening. I'm terrified of the dentist at the best of times and even more so now.

Urgh feel like such a moaning minnie with this pregnancy - my first one I didn't have all these issues earlier on.
