Hello ladies (I hope my phone posts cause am at my wits end with this thing)

@Gloei I'm fine, just the nausea and the mild cramping. But all seems to be going great. My breast are getting huge already and are painful so that is a painful but good sign I guess. So glad you had your first sonar, can wait for mine. Can only imagine the excitement you and your husband felt seeing that bundles heartbeat

@kristin , Congratulations. Omw our second babies will be born in the same month again Kristin. Lol. So happy for you.

@Nell, congratulations. I had the discharge as well. Apparently its old blood coming out and nothing to worry about. I had it for a few days then it disappears.

does any of you ladies have issues with constipation. It seems to have come full force and drinking prune seems to be helping on a milder scale. The bloating has gone down but once I drink prune juice its starts to the point where I have to drink milk.

Hi Kris.tin!!!!

Wow, yes, it has been a looooong time!
Congratulations!! Sjoe, Trying 2 years + is a long time...So glad that you got a BFP! Hope you and your little girl are doing well? My LG has turned 5 a couple of months ago. So glad to hear from you again!!

Yip, those first weeks were pretty painful, it felt like constant period pain cramps. I also had pain in my legs. Certainly the uterus stretching...

But the nausea....oh, boy, yesterday was ROUGH. I don't even want to insert the icon with the green face...worried I might feel sick again. :pinch:

Hope everyone else is doing well??

Hi Nellmarigeyer!

Congratulations!! I remember being extremely scared with my first child too - fear of the unknown and everything that can go wrong. I think it is very normal to feel this way. Stressing about everything that can go wrong isn't going to prevent anything that can go wrong and in the end one misses the opportunity to enjoy every magical moment of the pregnancy to the fullest. That is what I tell myself.

If you really drastically don't feel your pregnancy symptoms anymore phone your doctor and discuss your concerns. Perhaps they will do a follow up HCG test to determine that the levels are rising.

The nausea symptoms you describe sounds like classic morning sickness.
I try to eat something every hour, if I don't I can feel the nausea coming back...

Nels_n, hope you are feeling okay?

I have just come back from my first sonar. We decided to do it sooner to rule out an ectopic and were ecstatic to see the heartbeat flicker on the monitor! AMAZING! I am estimated to be 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. It's all getting real now...
I am also battling with the nausea but try to breath through it and try to tell myself that it isn't nausea that I am feeling, it is the embryo telling me to eat something! :silly:

Hi Ladies

I got my BFP on Thursday. My husband and I have been trying on and off for the past 18months. We sort put ttc on hold at the start of June as we went to see a fertility specialist and he said that we both should lose wreight and then we will work on the infertility. Well we lost weight and now we are pregnant. I went for bloodtest on Friday and when the nurse at my doctors office phoned back she said I was between 6 and 8 weeks. My LMP was June 30th. So that makes me close to 7 weeks. I am so happy but EXTREMLY SCARED.

I am scared of a miscarriage or blighted ovum or something like that. I would love any advice you might have for me. On Saterday I had some light brown discharge ( small amount) only when I wiped. Also my boobs are less sensitive the last 2 days. I do have some mild nausea in the morning and also during the day if my stomache gets empty. Is this normal?

Hi Nels_s!!

Ha ha ha!! Well, used google to do all the due date maths! :side:

I see you have a little girl of 5 years old too?

It is totally weird to be pregnant, I hear you about giving up and "moving on" with your life. Strange how things turn out.

I am very surprised that I don't have any morning sickness symptoms yet, with my previous pregnancy I was extremely sick by now already. So grateful to be feeling hungry!! I don't have very specific cravings yet...just feel like eating the whole time. I remember I lived on eggs with my previous pregnancy as well! At least a healthy thing to eat.

I don't know any of the brands anti-nausea medicine you mentioned...not that I know of anyone who had success with medicine. Does it actually help?

I am exhausted however, don't remember being this bad the previous pregnancy, although I was 30 then and I am 36 now...

I don't know how I am going to wait to tell friends and family and my LG of 5 year old....Don't know if I should wait until the first sonar to be on the safe side.

Wishing you a great weekend!!
