Welcome StarryEyed. I know how you feel,i felt like that with my previous pregnancy...what made it worse was i was put on bedrest from 13 weeks for 6 weeks caused by bleeding of a low lying placenta. Its normal to sometimes feel down....i always try to stay positive to think about the miracle that is growing inside of me...so many woman can't or struggle to experience this miracle....

Pas teruggehoor van die midwife wat ek wil gebruik. Ek sien haar volgende Dinsdag, maar sy doen nie scans nie. Sy verwys wel al haar kliente na Al-Nisa vir scans en dit kos so tussen R300 en R500 per scan, afhangende van watter scan jy doen. Sal hulle kontak en dan hopelik 'n afspraak he vir 'n scan

I know I am very lucky, as I am not throwing up or anything like that, but I'm really struggling to find food that I will actually eat. Normally I am already picky to begin with - there are many things I dont eat. But now it's even worse - just looking at bacon or avo or lamb chops, for example, puts me off. I dont even feel like eating my favourite chicken mayo sandwhich from Woolies. Right now it seems like all I do eat is ProNutro, ginger biscuits and crackers. Had a pizza on Saturday and couldn't eat more than three slices. Yet I get extremely hungry very often, so I keep wanting to snack.

Other than that, chocolates and sweet stuff give me heartburn, and I'm super tired!

Dis darem maar vreeslik donker vandag in Pta - voel net lus om in die bed te gaan klim, net jammer oor die werkery.

Verder gaan dit goed met my, gister en vandag is goeie dae, geen naarheid of moegheid of hoofpyn nie, so ek is baie bly en dankbaar.

Gogga - geluk met jul huweliksherdenking, jammer jy het goor gevoel.

Lagogies - jy vorder ook darem nou mooi, 9 wekies al!!!

Ai MO, dis nou 'n ding om 'n swangerskap sonder medies aan te pak, sterkte daarmee en ek hoop jou werkdinge word darem uitgesorteer!

StarryEyed - hi! I also sometimes wander to the April group since my date is 2 May. I'm so sorry you are still feeling so horrible and sick, I must say, I also felt like that and very miserable and not enjoying being pregnant at all, but the last week or so I've been feeling better, holding thumbs you will also experience that! When are you going for a scan again and do you know the gender yet? It must be better for you now that you are back in SA.

I have been in the April 2015 group but my doctor has decided that my due date is the 1 May 2015. So I thought I would join you ladies here as well

I am still suffering from Nausea... been the longest three months of my life. In the last week it has gotten worse and the headaches have started. I am so tired all the time and really hoping this all goes away soon! My mom was sick up until 6 months and I am not sure I can stand 6 months of this. I have a boep but have not put on any weight. All this feeling sick is putting a bit of a damper on the excitement for me... I don't even feel like baby shopping.

How are all of you feeling? Anyone else feeling "down in the dumps"?

Sjoe...gister was bad daggie vir my. Ek het kossies gekook vir my seuntjie...en dit het my tot na midd besig gehou. Sommer duislig geraak tydens dit. Was ook my en manlief se 2de huweliksherdenking. Ek wou nog lekker kos kook vir ons...maar ek was so naar daarna....ek dink al die kosreuke was net te erg vir my. Toe is manlief so oulik en maak vir ons lekker pasta en slaai,was dit nou lekker. Kannie glo vandag is ek al 6weke ni...voel soos gister wat ek 4weke was...met my vorige swangerskap het als so lank gevoel,dalk omdat seuntjie my bedrywig hou bedags.
