Haha!

Don't worry, I've had my turn with a baby who didn't sleep. Thank goodness this baby is easier than my 1st, that was really tough.

To be frank, I think the formula has made a difference, that's when I started seeing a change in his sleeping.

Hi all!

Just checked the forum because I haven't had a single notification in more than a month. I see you guys have been posting, but I didn't know and would've replied!!!

So, Dehan is exactly 3 months old today. I've had a blast with him so far and really been enjoying my maternity leave. He's such a relaxed little guy and making every thing super easy at home. Big sister has adjusted very well and we've settled into a very nice routine.

He now weighs 6.7kg, more than double his birth weight. We've gone for 2 rounds of injections and had no side effects.

He's now exclusively on formula (nan), I stopped breastfeeding at the end of week 7. He has 5 - 6 feeds per day of 125ml each. He moved to his own room at the end of week 6, and together with the formula feeding it's made a massive difference in his sleep pattern.

At night he goes to sleep at 18:30/18:45 and sleeps through until 5:30, some days he's sleeps as late as 6.15. That's a good 11-hour stretch and it's been going like this for the past 2 weeks. His last afternoon feed is between 5 and 6pm, he then has a bath at 18:15 and goes to bed. I pick him up and give him a bottle in his sleep at 9pm. And that's that! No crying, not even a cough or a sneeze until the next morning.

He sleeps well in the day too, but no naps of 3 hours like in the early days. At most he'll sleep 2 hours at a time, but he's easy to put to sleep too. I put him down after every 90 minutes or so, and he eventually falls asleep by himself.

I know I sound like I'm bragging here, but just wanted to let you all know that everything is really good on my side. My 3-year old daughter still calls me once/twice during the night, wish she would just get over that so that I could be off the hook completely in terms of night-time duties.

Hi TCS84

Thanx that really helps, I have ten containers full already and they are all 180ML. I will be gone Saturday morning Round 7 and back Sunday midday around 12. Do u think that is enough?

Ladies has anyone had problems with the baby only wanting them? And cries when other people hold her?

Hi Vendah. My little boy did the same around the 7 week mark. Refused to go down during the day. It does pass. He's soooo much better now. I think the realization of being out in the world makes them cling to you...

He drinks 125ml at a time roughly.. I demand feed him. So from like 5am he onwards he has about 6 feeds on the breast. Then his bedtime feed at 9pm... He wakes up at 11 then 2:30 then 5am. I recently started Phtting him to bed at 9. It used to be 11 before.
Hard to say how much he is drinking each time at the breast. But if I bottle feed him expressed milk,it's 125ml that makes him full...
Hope this helps!

Hi ladies

I miss u guys, I guess we all busy with the little ones. Mine is 7 weeks and so much has happened and changed. She is such a sweet baby but during the day she just wants to sleep in my arms as soon as I put her down she wakes up, by at night she sleeps alone without a hassle.

she is in breast only, and she weighs 5.5 kg
I recently started pumping to store I am going to a wedding with hubby this weekend and we will be spending the night there I am SO ANXIOUS.

She is already starting to cry when people hold her and stops when they give her back. Is it normal at such a young age?

@TCS84 how much milk does yours drink a day including night.I wanna make a roughy estimate

@berry how is the breast? How is the baby's weight? CONGRATES ON THE MARRIAGE. hubby and I also need to do that coz we only got traditionally married and we only gonna have our white wedding after 3 years.

HOPE U ALL GOOD LADIES
