Burning the midnight oil together

Girly if I am not mistaken he would go for about 1 to 1.5 hours wake then have a nap. But his naps are any where between 10mins and 2 hours. And he wakes up just as happy after both.

Graeme spent the time between 2 and 6 this morning snorting (he doesnt cry at night, he snorts. My little piggy). Only happy if he had my boob in his mouth. He even got himself worked up into a cry at one point. Wow I nee to break this habit, just so much easier in the middle of the night to give him what he wants. haha

Can a growth spurt last a week?

Oh I am up, but clearly Graeme did not get enough sleep, he is sleeping in with his father. At least one of us will be refreshed.

Hi there! I just wanted to pop in and say hi.

I'm not burning the midnight oil anymore, but being halfway around the world, when I'm online most of the other mommies are still be sleeping, except you lot.

I really enjoy reading all your posts, and I actually miss those first days, and those sleepy times in the middle of the night when it's only you and your baba. Even though there are times when you don't believe that it's possible to be so tired!!

Claudia, yes I am Checked the thread out the other day as Lilly will also grow up with three languages. I speak German to her, hubby Afrikaans and we speak English to each other.

Girly, hope you got some sleep. I've been awake ever since my last post even though Missy is in dreamland now. Now I don't feel tired anymore but I know I will later when she's awake.

@Yaz I was talking German, but to be honest have gotten quite lazy. I really want James to have another language, it helped me and hubby when we did our RTW trip-especially in Russia. My dad is german. Havntbeen on thatthread in ages, are you also german?

6 weeks is normal for a growth spurt, my gosh how I hate it when janes goes through them. Hopefully mostly over now!

Sorry Girly, forgot to reply to your question. I wanted to strangle DH last night as he fed her in the lounge with the tv on and she was glued to it. Needless to say she was completely hyped up afterwards! At least he saw his mistake and made it his mission to put her to bed as I was pooped. She only slept at 11, I hope he learned his lesson hehe.

I'm back, Madam is on the boob again. Only put her down an hour ago. Must be a spurt for our princesses, Girly. Claudia, I saw on the bilingual thread that James is learning German at home. Who's speaking it, is your DH German? I am too Ok the monkey demands my attention. Later ladies x

we are still at this, 2 hours later. Really wish i knew what to do. She has sucked me dry.

Claudic do you ever do it at chris barnard memorial? Yea they said it was cos of the suctioning that they did not want us there. The physio's that treated her were all so sweet.

I hope james feeds quick that you can get some sleep.
