Same here. My boss knew from the beginning as he also knew about my miscarriage earlier this year, so I told him when we found out so he'll know if I have to go for scans every month.

I'm probably going to take 4 months maternity leave but my work only pay 50% of your salary. So I'll probably take 2 months and then work from home for 2 months with full pay. But I know in any case I'll be working even if on maternity leave or not as my monthly reports need to be in and my junior staff won't be able to take that over for the period I'm on leave. At least they will credit me for any days worked during my maternity leave so that at least is a bonus.

@CDLK - I have told the people at my work very early on. I am just the kind of person that feels guilty hiding something from someone - so honesty always gets the better of me. And now it is becoming obvious, as I am growing by the day.

I am going to try for 3-4 months maternity leave but with the option to work from home and still earn big % of my salary otherwise we will not be able to survive financially. What is the options for maternity leave at your workplace?

Is there anyone that can help with why I am no longer receiving mail notifications of any posts to the groups I am subscribed with?

@MTC - you look stunning my friend! I actually get confused between what is baby bump and what is actual belly flab lol. Although I am showing and felt I showed much earlier than with my first, I feel like I'm somehow smaller than I was with my first at this point. It's been so long actually can't remember

@Ninies - little boys are so cute. Must admit I would love another boy but in all honesty as long is baba is healthy then I'm happy.

Have you guys told your work and colleagues yet? How long is everyone getting maternity leave for?

Our 4D scan is booked for 24 Nov - cant wait. We will then confirm gender but looks like a little boy. Atleast I am boy savvy after having my son...

@Blou - how are you doing? Have you confirmed gender on your side yet?

I have a sneaky suspicion this little person is a girl... Fiancè is almost sure it's a boy... Seeing our gynae again 12 weeks and 3 days to do all necessary blood tests...

How you all doing? Where are all the belly pics... Will post my latest one at 10 weeks and 6 days... Honestly feeling like a baby elephant!

@ CDLK, I am sure little boys are so different to little girls, sugar and spice

AFM, my scan went very well and the NT screening confirmed everything is fine but just waiting for my blood test results which should come Thursday. Baby was very active and we could see everything and its looks like a baby now. Baby is 3 days ahead of schedule and the heartbeat was 150

Also it is confirmed that we are having a little girl
