@ Ninies, how was the scan and how did your son react?

@ Lisa, How did the checkup go? I am using Happy Event and just love the smell. Not sure about the pains on the right side but I am sure it is normal as baby is growing.

@ MtC, How was the scan and where are the pics?

@ Maj, how is the reflux?

AFM, I am 12w5d and almost past my first trimester. So excited but the little symptoms I have has is gone, no more cramps or cravings. I am still tired but not so bad as last week but still have bathroom breaks all the time. I read that the second trimester is much more easy sailing... I have my 4D scan and tests on Tuesday and can't wait.

Hello Ladies

So tomorrow I am 17 weeks and going for another check up. I am so excited and cant wait to see my little man.
Sometimes the wait between doctors visits seems so long... anybody else going for their scans this week?


I am starting to feel my tummy stretching more and I am starting to scratch too! What are you using to prevent stretch marks and how often do you use it. I have just bought the Palmers Coco Butter Lotion and Bio Oil - I plan to use both twice a day!

My uterus is starting to stretch and pull as well - it can be quite sore at times. How would I know when its something to be concerned about and to bring up with the doctor. This might be a bit of overshare but after weeing, I feel pain on my right side. Is this normal?

@ momToChloe, teh dr didnt change the due date as such, but I have always just taken in at as estimates, so wen anyone asks i saw, beginning to mid May.
My LGs first due date was the 23rd, a few months later it was the 16th, and she was born on the 14th.
Im not too phased by the dates, etc.

These emotions are hectic, but instead of making me feel weepy, i just get really irritable, and snappy. Hubby says I am becoming mean!!

Maj, so happy to hear all went well with your scan, so has your due date changed?

AFM, 9 weeks and 6 weeks pregnant... Fatigue is still hanging around, hormones are going crazy, I was so emotional last night I couldn't stop crying... Next scan for me is this Friday, can't wait to see how big baby has grown, super excited!!!

@Blou, the CT MamaMagic was busier on Friday afternoon than it was on Sunday!! Babycity gives out complimentary tickets, but only for the friday so maybe thats why.

@ Ninies good luck with the party planning, and the scan. I wish i could take my daughter, maybe at my Dec appointment!

AFM, my scan went well yesterday, baby was dancing around, and stretching. All the measurements went well. From the last appointment, I should have been about 12weeeks, 5 days, but the leg measurements was 13 weeks.
The gynea said it sounds like I have reflux!!
I also convinced the gynea to only see me every 6 weeks, since I am at low risk.
I told my manager that I am pregnant. He said he wont say anything to everybody, he will let me mention it to my colleagues. Not sure how to casually drop it into conversation though!!

@Jaybee - I also use the loo far too often...I have to get up at night about 4 times. It is terrible.
You sure are tiny and you boepie is so small.

@Blou - I am holding thumbs your gynae will be able to confirm the gender for you on Thursday and may it be what you want it to be.

AFM - I am 16 weeks today. Our scan is also on Thursday and my son will come with for the first time. He is kind of looking forward. So cute. Hoping that my doctor will be able to confirm the gender otherwise it will only be done at the next scan beginning of December.
I am feeling better these days, no real cravings, just a bit tired. I am busy planning our son's 4th birthday which is in about 2 weeks time. Our theme is Scooby Doo - he just loves that dog.
