Hi ladies

Arrrggghhh - we had the worst Easter weekend ever!!!!

Dakota started off with teething runny tummy, then she started with the vomiting
On Fri, I couldn't keep anything down (not even water!) I thought it was bad MS but then
the tummy cramps & pains started
On Sat, DH came down with a fever, turned to vomiting, cramps etc
On Sun, MIL (who looks after D) got flu, so when I felt better on Mon eve, I had to take off work yesterday
to look after a sick baby and a sick DH (even worse!!)
So all in all, the most miserable long weeekend ever
With all the rain, we couldn't even go outside
At least D is better now (she does have a runny nose tho) and DH is booked off til Fri!

I was so worried about the cramps (and another MC ) but no bleeding and the cramps went,
so I feel ok now

And thankfully DH was so sick that he didn't have time to think about how disappointed he is
that he actually spoke about MacKenzie by name (he bought Dakota a snow globe when she was born
and we were playing with it yesterday and he said he will have to buy M one as well )
I was so happy!!

We had a ... long ... easter weekend.
We were supposed to go to a braai / easter egg hunt at MIL, but Willem was feeling misarable for a few days already (teething), and he had just fallen asleep. DH wasn't willing to wake him up, so by the time he got there, the hunt was over

As for me... Didnt even go to the braai... I started my easter weekend with a stomach bug..... Spent 3 of the 4 days laying in bed feeling sorry for myself - wasn't even lus for all the chocolates!!!
And now, as soon as thats over with, its seems I've been hit by the flu.

Sitting at my desk now, trying very hard to stay awake, and at least LOOK busy...

It's official, we are moving at the end of this month. We found a place, and signed the lease yesterday. We will be paying more, for a smaller place than what we are staying in at the moment , but it seems rental prices has skyrocketed over the last 5 months in this area!

Yip, dead quiet here Joybaby.

Everyone seems to have disappeared.

We doing well. Had a lovely Easter Weekend and now just looking forward to our holiday at the end of the month. Emily is doing good, she is a real funny, feisty little girl with soooooo much attitude. It's funny in a way, but we are trying not to encourage it, so I have to stifle my giggles and try to be firm with her - she is hilarious though! And everything belongs to her, even my car! I say let's get in mommy's car, she says: "Emmie's Car!!!"

She has also learnt to say her surname, so now everything is Emmie Botha!! We had an easter egg hunt but she was not much interested, after she found the first egg, she sat down and ate it and was not interested in finding any more (until that one was up of course!) My fridge is still full of easter eggs and friends and family keep bringing her more

I got my exam results yesterday and passed with really good results. It was a tough exam, so I was hoping to just scrape by, but I managed to get a whopping 78%!!! Now I am on a break until 17 April.

Jpybaby = have you managed to find tenants yet? Whats news on that front?

Robyn how is Dakota is she still struggling with her eye teeth?
K struggled a few days with them until they cut through and then she was fine again, but they were definitely the worst of all the teeth.
Try giving nurofen instead of ponado as the anti inflamatory should help with the pain more effectively.

Shew I'm tired! Going to get back into bed, I slept so restlessly and light the entire night long! And its pretty chilly here!

Taking K to the cardiologist this afternoon for her post op check up.
It's a clinical check up so no echo's this time but will give me a chance to ask some questions regarding the op that we havent yet been told about.

Got a BFP we are looking at late Nov early Dec. I have an appointment with the gynae next week to confirm.

JB - done. I voted last week, but for some reason it came up as a user name "Baby Boo" which I used for 1 day before changing to Flowergirl. THat was soooo long ago, no idea why it came up as baby boo. But I have voted Good luck!
