Robyn, have u tried giving Nurofen or Calpol? She might handle that better. Panado is quite strong in taste and that could be the reason for the nausea???

Turns out Emily has throat infection Glad we got it checked out though, so now at least we can treat it. So, she is on her 2nd ever round of antibiotics. Just hope she is feeling better by the weekend as we have a hectic weekend ahead of us.

well, DH seems to be getting abit better - was almost ok this morning

I think I'll try giving D prodol - she is really struggling with her eye teeth
last night again she had a temp so we tried giving her a panado dissolvable tablet rather than the syrup between supper (17h00) and her cereal (19h00)
As soon as she had 1 mouthful of cereal, she threw up everything - even her 17h00 supper!!
She really can't keep anything down with Panado - just too strong for her tummy
So of course she went to bed with an empty tummy and woke up 3 times during the night for a bottle

Robyn, Hope your DH come around, and sees her for the blessing she is. 2 Girls does not mean he can't have a special bond. I'm a 'second' girl, and I got to be the tomboy who always wear pants, helped daddy out in the garden/garage, and caught bugs to throw on my sister I still know more about tools than my DH
Just remind him, its "mommy's boy", and "daddy's little girl"

Joybaby, glad to hear the sleeping is going better! Willem does the same - we tell his grandparents how he stuggles with sleeping, and then he sleeps like an angel by then. Sure they think we are exagerating...

Kerry. Good Luck with the TTC. Shame, I can REALLY sympathise with the sleeping at the moment. Willem is cutting his two bottom canines, and one night he is fine, the next he screams half the night. And he also got very clingly in the last week or two...

Flowergirl, home Em is feeling better - maybe also teeth?

AFM: We had a especially rough night 2 nights ago. Willem was up crying every hour or so. DH insists on 'taking turns'. Well it was his 'turn', so I told him I'll go lie in the spare room, then Willem can lie next to him in the bed. 20 minutes later I can STILL hear the crying, so thought I'll go see if he is managing - just to find him stretched out on the bed, and Willem screaming in his cot..........
He decided to try "cry-it-out"
Then when I told him to give Willem Panado, since his teeth are sore - he told me that "its not his teeth, he just wants attention", since he stopped crying when he rubbed his back.
Well, I gave him prodol, kicked DH out of the room, and half-hour later he was fast asleep again...

Willem loves crawling into bed with us in the mornings. Sometimes when he cries, when he hears me next to him, he lies back dosn, and holds out his hand - then I need to pass the milk/tea, and he goes back to sleep.
Other times when I get there, he passes me his blankie. Once I take the blanket, he sticks out his arms and tell me "up". But I'm NOt allowed to leave the blankie behind - tried that this morning (he passed my his big blanket), and had instant tantrum
