Kerry, K & D are the same age and D is also only using 1 word
(now I'm getting worried )

But Im not worried about her ears as she understands absolutely everything you say to her
and does anything you ask her to do
When she has her next vacc, I'll ask the nurse

DH is in Jhb (left 04h30 yesterday and only lands at 22h00 tom) so I need to wake up at 05h00
to get myself ready for work, feed dogs, put D on the potty, give her a bottle, dress her - must
leave my house by 06h15 to drop D off and get to work by 08h00 - I'm already exhausted!
Plus I'm having bad MS - almost threw up in my car on the way to work again this morning

I figured that would be a problem... look my preference is the beach (seeing as the last time K saw sand she was 4 months) but if the weathers soo terrible the braai also sounds excellent.

I would not be concerned that Kaelyn is not yet putting 2 word sentences together - they are still very young! My nephew only started speaking 1 word at 24 months old. He is now 28 months and speaking up a storm! They all develop at their own pace. I think it is way too early to be concerned about that. Sorry to hear about your hubby's gran

As for the shape sorter - Em is exactly the same, gets SUPER irritated with it and I also have to guide her. She tries to put the shape into the first hole she sees and will keep trying (and eventually screaming of frustration) until I say: "Em, try the other one"!!! I was scared it meant that she had a ridulous temper, so I am relieved to hear that it's not just her.

I am working on Thursday and Friday and I have taken so much time off work recently that i really cannot afford to take off anymore time so, I can either meet you ladies at the beach late Friday afternoon, say 4ish?? or we can do a braai at my place on Friday evening if you want? If you in Parklands/Tableview, then I would be the halfway point between you and Joybaby

perhaps dinner somewhere on friday night? will be staying in blouberg/parklands area

or if the weather is good we would LOVE to take little k to the beach one day... perhaps we could all meet there with a big bag of flings and a bottle of juice?

So todays post is gloomy....

Josh's gran passed away on sunday night and she lived in Ceres so we are off to CT later today... Will be laving JHB on a kalula flight at 3,

Josh's mom is unfortunately in hospital in tremendous pain at the moment, been diagnosed with a disease with a looong name "Diverticulitis" basically growths on the intestine that have become infected and inflamed. So she won't be able to make it.

and just when you thought things couldn't get too much worse theres a Jass festival or something in CT this weekend so the flight is costing us R6200! Ouch!!!!

And on top of all this Kaelyn seems to be cutting what feels like her pre-molars and is acting up holy... wouldn't go to bed last night... when she did eventually go down at 9 she only slept till 11 and then i took her to our bed.
