What will you never allow your child to....

Jems I read an article (imagine that )recently where they interviewed kids who had tv's. They found that they are not getting enough sleep. the kids watch tv at 2 in the morning without parents knowing.

Hmmmm I think I'm not strict at all .

I don't mind the pc and tv - but we've got all the pc's together in the study so will see what happens when they are older

I will never just walk into their room, will always knock anyways

Already thought of getting Kayla a cell phone so she can call me when necessary


I WILL NEVER let them sleep out at other people's houses! That's my one big rule.

Hi Everyone

My daughter is 2 and a half years old and my parents bought her a Flat screen tv for her bedroom. So my 2 year old has a flat screen against her wall and she only watches her dvd's like barney etc. I wont allow dstv in her room just suitable dvds.

I'm still trying to understand my toddler and realised I haven't thought alot about my kids as tweens/teenagers! Eeek!

I haven't thought about the computer thing yet. Will have to see when the time arrives I suppose.

They can have a tv in their room I don't mind. We find tv quite relaxing and Jade likes watching tv while lying in bed. Of course whatever they watch will be suitable for their ages.

Haven't thought about locks yet.

Cell phones - I will give my kids one when they are able to use it. Simple cheap ass ones that are to used in emergencies only. I like the thought of being able to talk to my kids at any time and vice versa.

Why you so anti the tv thing?
