Marijke we were born and then our parents shaped us. Trust me almost two years of therapy and I have mostly my parents to thank for needing it as I am sure Dylan will too one day.
I can't complain though. My upbringing was fine.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Talking about school and all that. Both my sisters were A students in high school, I remember many a night sitting for the highschool prize giving (the benches were hard for a small child) Then when I went to grade 8 (6 years after my sister) I got to my first prize giving and no one came to support me, my best friends mom had to drive me home afterwards.

Needless to say, from then on I struggled to make C's - wonder if there is a link.....

Married for 13 years

No make up and funky hairdo`s in highschool ( makes them appear grown up to vultures out there)
No Tv in bedroom.
No BF till matric dance( they mess with your head anyway and you end up failing matric)
No sokkies/ late night get togethers at school.
No smoking /alcohol in my presence or behind my back.
No foul language /swearing.
No back chatting to any adult person.
No friends calling Aunty Jade to ask if Tay can come to a slumber party.

I will however
Give them the freedom to chose what sport/career etc they wanna go with.
Go through her cellphone to check her texts( I did that with my younger sister of 15 and found out she was giving some dude her lunch money whilst telling me she needed extra money for some fundraising thingie.

Its the 'in-thing' Deja. I have seen so may bare bums of different sizes and texture (and 'print') and its disgusting. Maybe if worn with skirts/dresses its fine but not with those low-rise jeans. YUCK!
