Ok, I give Hannah her bottle, she falls asleep in my arms and then I just cuddle her for a bit (bout 10 mins) then put her in her bed. some nights she sleeps through, othertimes she wakes just for a feed and then I feed, burp and put her into her bed where she sleeps again.
In answer to your questions RM, yes, when DH and I go to supper alone we leave the girls at my parents and I'm perfectly comfortable to do so and know that they are good. Hannah will fall asleep in her bed and Mia falls asleep on the couch or folded up duvet in the lounge.
At friends, they are no trouble. If they need a bath, they have a bath and then carry on playing quietly. Most of my friends have kids, and those who don't sit with me while I bath or fed them because they're interested.
We don't normally go out during the week, and on weekends we take the kids with us if we go to breakfast or to friends.
As I said, I'm with Jems, Attachment Parenting. The nights are and weekends are my time with my girls and that's exactly what I want to do, spend time with my family!
And if you're worried DH doesn't get time with Mia in our bed, how do you think we made Hannah??
