Good morning ladies

@Hoopvirdiebeste - Oh my gosh what an exciting time for you  So many exciting things happening in your life now!! Hope all the last minute planning goes well :) Because I have decided on a Caesarian I am also due 9 October :)

@Lillyr - Sorry to hear about the bleeding, that would scare any mom but on a positive note at least your little baby is doing well!Keeping you in my thoughts.

I started feeling my boy move last week  I am so inlove! I feel him moving mainly at night when I am relaxed and then sometimes during the day. I cant wait until the feeling is strong enough so my husband can feel! He has been so supportive and doing more research on products than myself!haha

Have you ladies decided on natural birth or Caesarian as yet?

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Hi All and welcome Stelliesmamma, sorry for being so quite but its really busy this side. The wedding plans are coming along just fine, can't believe that I will be marrying the man of my dreams in only a couple of days. The dress is 99% finished and all the rest is done. As for the little one... fantastic. I am showing now noticeably, FINALLY, not just looking fat, but pregnant. I can feel the little monkey move every now and then (well I think, not sure what to feel for :P ). I still do have a lot of uterine muscle spasms which is rather painful but I think it is worse than normal due to the fibroid that I have. (Gynea says it is normal and that I should not worry unless I start bleeding, but so far so good) My next appointment is the 8th of June, and than I would be exactly 21 weeks. Gynea fixed the date and I booked my bed already, so I am going to be a first time mommy on the 9th of October... how exciting is that??? :woohoo:

Enough about me, Lilly, you are in my prayers, but I know that your little one is going to stick and stay where it is! I just know it! Just take it easy and stay positive.

For the rest of you, how are you doing... your bb's just as sore as mine? :pinch:

hi ladies,

sorry that i have been MIA. Welcome to the new mommies... wishing a healthy 9 months :)

so..I have been booked off again, because i started bleeding- AGAIN. This time around it was a lot. At about 5 am i felt wet and i was even laughing at myself that 'Have i just wee'd on myself", thinking its pregnancy playing tricks with my bladder. Only to wake up to a pool of blood. sorry for the TMI. guys it was so scary. I went to the bathroom quickly and i passed this big clot. Oh my heart just sank. Getting to the dr's room i had no hope we will see the heartbeat. Only to find little one playing away. So i was put on bedrest again, and have to take cylclogest for 2 weeks. Has anyone experienced this? I am trying to stay positive but its really scary because no one can tell me why its happening. Gynae says it might have been caused by the placenta stretching..

I am back at work, trying to take it easy. And i think we are doing fine, though i get so tired of sitting :(

how is everyone else doing? and our bride?

Hi ladies

I am new to the group, first time mom and first time forum user, so pretty much a novice at it all. I am due 22nd November so just hit the 14 week mark. Very excited!

Had the 12 week scan at the Fetal Assessment Clinic and the little one is doing great - amazed at everything that they can check for.

Looking forward to following your journey and sharing in the excitement :)

Hi Ladies!

Wow time flies! How are you all doing? Are you showing noticeably? I can't remember from my previous pregnancy when I really started showing. I THINK that I could wear my bigger denims up until almost 20 weeks, but I may be remembering wrong  My Babycentre update said that the uterus starts protruding above the pelvic bone round Week 15, so one might start seeing a bump then, but my other preggy friends generally started showing sooner than 15 weeks.

Anyway, I'm now just over 15 weeks pregnant, will be 16 weeks this Friday. I notice that I'm showing. although with winter clothes etc it is not really noticeable to other people yet.

@ Pillpusher, I've gained (as of last Friday) only about 1.5kg, but my appetite is really bad at the moment and I have also been stressing a lot. I can't seem to smell foods anymore and therefore they have no real taste to me. This site:

has a really good preggy weight calculator that I used in my last pregnancy.

No real symptoms at the moment  so it makes me worry a bit. I will feel better once I can feel baby move. Anyone felt a kick yet?

Have a lovely week ladies, and let us know how you and the little shrimps/peanuts/jellybeans are!

(I see that I did not post the link correctly and can't seem to get it right. If it does not show correctly just google baby2see pregnancy weight calculator)

Welcome SMC

Hope all the other ladies are doing well, our thread has been a bit quiet.

So when I weighed myself at gym last night, I saw that I've gained just over 7kg already. How's everyone else's weight gain? I know that since my BMI was healthy before falling pregnant it's estimated that I should gain between 11-16kg, but already gaining half of that and not even being half way yet
