Sarah, send me your email adress, then I'll forward that article to you. I actually got if from Janine, maybe she has send it to you before.

Carmen, bly jy het jou make up oorleef! Hoop jy geniet jou rustige daggie!

Petro, gaan fliek man, dit sal lekker wees.

Thanks. I phoned my mum today and we had a chat and I mentioned how much I wanted and needed her here so she is coming up next weekend. I feel better about it all now - I think I was just needing my mum. I try not to think of labour as pain...I think of contractions and I think of delivering my baby. I'd love to read that article. I've got a book on active birth which I must read again. The thing about an epidural I really don't like is not having control over what happens to me.

Late night for me...must go to bed now!

Hi julle

Sarah, good luck, I am sure you will be able to do it in the end! I personally don't fear pain that much at all, Iin fact I am one tough cookie, have had many gall stones pass and my gall bladder removed...and they say that is very close or same as labour...the pain was to the degree where you feel that you want to pass out

My reason for haveing c-sec is not at all about the pain, it is the idea that my bladder will fall out my body! You will be fine and persevere!!

Ok, julle, ekke gaan nou skuinsle op die bank, more speel my man alweer golf, so ekke gaan moreoggend rustig by die huis wees, en dan gaan ons die middag sy hare laat sny by so 'n bikers liefdadigheid event, waar een van my pelle die ouens se hare sny :)

Gerne, hoop jy kry darem bietjie rus vannaand!

Die see agtergrond lyk stunning!

Hi dames

Ai my lewe ook tog!

So....

Janine, ek is bly sy le al so mooi, dit maak dinge makliker ne. Nou is dit n spanningsvolle wag vir j ne

Anina, yay, mos vi j gese j moenie wory ni.

Carmen hoop jy is okay na al di make up - dit is so warm vandag.

3 Jaar gelukkig getroud

Hi mommies

So, 7 days left till B-Day...I am beginning to get a little nervous now coz hubby told me today that he think the pain of labour is not worth it and maybe I should just have an epidural. I know he will support me in what I want (I'm not a fan of epidural, it is my last resort) and he's just as nervous. I think he's seen me not be able to walk coz of my back pain but that is a different type of pain - that is debilitating whereas I see labour as positive and empowering and life-giving. But now I have this little nagging voice in my head...I'm trying to ignore it and doing some positive thinking but I can't help but wonder if Im just being silly and trying to be 'different' (he always says I'm trying to be different and not conform to 'normal' society!

I think I'm just nervous of the unexpected...and missing my mum, I really want her here but she can't really take time off work. I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't just ask her to come up the day before baby is due, just in case, but if baby decides to be late then she misses work and there's nothing much we can do anyway coz Dr will only see me on the 18th to make a plan regarding induction etc.

OK, moan over...I really need to keep my mind busy till baby arrives!
